Dec 26, 2018 · Unless you need 1,200mm+, then the Nikon P1000, and Canon SX60HS are the only cameras to consider if you will shoot in RAW (always shoot in RAW ;) ). The Nikon B700 has a terrible sensor and should be dismissed. The Canon SX70 has the B700 sensor so it should also be dismissed.
Dec 13, 2019 · Thanks. The P1000 is not so good in dim light. Some advice: 1. ISO in the range of 100-400 works best. Even at ISO 800, IQ is going down. 2. At high focal lengths, the camera is f/8 at its widest aperture.
